Maggie Inah Jeong O'Brien (정인아; they/them) is a fifth-year doctoral student at the Learning Sciences Research Institute. They have been a member of the Ryu group since Fall 2020. They use research to represent Asian American and transracial Korean adoptee communities in advancing narrative-based sensemaking theory development and narrative inquiry methods. Maggie also assisted Dr. Ryu for the Undergraduate STEM Project and DEcLARE Project. Outside of research, Maggie enjoys painting and playing traditional Korean percussion.
